Statistics Canada linked the September 2025 rise in Quebec manufacturing sales to higher production of aerospace products and parts. Before the machine is energized

A Montreal installation follows the same provincial rules as the rest of Quebec. It helps to take them in the order they come up on site:

Approval label. The Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) prohibits installing electrical equipment that is not approved. The machine needs the mark of an SCC-accredited certification body, or a special evaluation label to CSA SPE-1000 from an accredited inspection body. French documentation. Under article 51 of the Charter of the French Language, information on the machine and in the documents supplied with it, including the manuals and warranty, must be in French. Moving a machine into a Montreal building

European machines often arrive through the Port of Montreal itself, which keeps the sea-to-door leg short for plants on the Island and the South Shore. Machines shipped from Asia usually land on the west coast and cross the country by rail, or come in through eastern ports.
