Amada Made in Japan

ENSIS-3015RIe

ENSIS-RIe Sheet and Tube Processing Centre

The ENSIS-3015RIe pairs Amada's variable-beam ENSIS fiber source with a Rotary Index unit, so one machine handles flat sheet and profiles up to 220 mm in diameter. Both chucks are driven, which stops square and rectangular tube from twisting, and Amada quotes a sheet-to-tube changeover of about five minutes. A shuttle table, a 16-station nozzle changer and wide side doors are part of the standard machine.

Where it fits

The ENSIS-3015RIe suits a fabricator that cuts both flat sheet and round, square or rectangular tube on one machine, since the built-in Rotary Index switches between the two with a changeover of about five minutes rather than needing a separate tube laser. Tube capacity up to 220 mm diameter and sheet up to 25 mm mild steel at all three power levels (3, 6 or 9 kW) covers structural steel fabrication, railing and frame work alongside flat parts. A shop that only ever cuts flat sheet has no use for the Rotary Index and would get better value from a dedicated flat-bed laser such as the Trumpf TruLaser 1030.

Confirm before you order

  • Confirm laser power needed, noting Rotary Index mode caps at 3 kW even on the 6 or 9 kW machine
  • Check tube wall thickness range (1 to 12 mm, less for angle and channel) against typical stock
  • Verify table loading weight of 920 kg covers the heaviest sheets planned
