The ByStar Fiber 6225 takes 6200 x 2500 mm sheets and is built for high-output cutting of steel, stainless, aluminum and non-ferrous metals up to 50 mm thick. Its Swiss-made cutting head works with Spot Control, which sets the focal point for each material and thickness, and a camera on the cutting bridge (Detection Eye) locates the sheet before cutting starts. A rotary axis option lets the same machine cut tube.

Where it fits
The ByStar Fiber 6225 suits a high-volume metal fabricator cutting large sheets in steel, stainless, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals up to 50 mm thick, where the 6.2 x 2.5 m bed handles oversized plate without nesting compromises. Laser sources up to 30 kW put this at the production end of the fiber laser range, matched to shops running multiple shifts rather than occasional jobs. The camera-based sheet detection and automatic focal control reduce operator setup time on varied jobs. A smaller shop cutting mostly thin gauge sheet in standard 3 x 1.5 m format would find this oversized and should look at a compact enclosed laser instead.
