The Torchmate 4800 ships as a complete unit with water table, touch-screen HMI, torch height control and a Lincoln FlexCut plasma source, and Lincoln says it can be cutting within about 30 minutes of uncrating. It uses a rack and pinion gantry on 20 mm profile linear rails, with 500 ipm traverse and 0.0015 in repeatability. The standard FlexCut 80 pierces 3/4 in mild steel, or 1 in with the optional FlexCut 125.

The Torchmate 4800 suits a growing fab shop wanting a complete, ready-to-run 4 x 8 ft plasma table, since Lincoln ships it with water table, HMI, torch height control and a FlexCut plasma source already integrated, cutting within about 30 minutes of uncrating. The standard FlexCut 80 pierces up to 3/4 in mild steel, with 1 in available via the optional FlexCut 125 upgrade, giving a shop room to grow into thicker plate later. A shop needing wider or longer tables, or oxy-fuel and beveling capability, should look at the Kinetic K2500 or Messer MetalMaster Xcel instead, since this model is a single fixed 4 by 8 ft table.
