K2500 Cutting System
The K2500 is Kinetic's top production cutting machine: it cuts with Hypertherm plasma up to 4 in and oxy-fuel up to 8 in, both with bevel options, and drills and taps from a 6-station turret in the same setup. The gantry runs on floor-mounted rails over a downdraft table with removable dross drawers, at traverse speeds up to 800 in/min. Tables can be built up to 18 ft wide and 100 ft long for plate and structural shops.

Where it fits
The K2500 suits a plate and structural steel shop that wants plasma and oxy-fuel cutting, drilling, tapping and beveling on one gantry, since the 6-station turret and dual beveling processes remove several separate operations from the shop floor. Table sizes up to 18 ft wide and 100 ft long fit a shop running long structural members or large plate, well beyond a standard sheet metal fabricator's needs. Kinetic itself describes the K2500 as medium-duty within its own range, so a shop wanting Kinetic's most heavy-duty option should ask about machines above this model rather than assuming the K2500 is the ceiling.
