About Trumpf
TRUMPF is a family-owned German maker of machine tools, lasers and industrial electronics, headquartered in Ditzingen near Stuttgart. The company was established in 1923. In fiscal 2024/25 it reported sales of 4,329.0 million euros and 18,303 employees, and it operates through more than 70 subsidiaries in Europe, the Americas and Asia; TRUMPF Inc. in the United States is the largest of them.
For sheet metal shops, TRUMPF covers most of the process: 2D and 3D laser cutting machines, tube lasers, press brakes and bending automation, punching machines, and software for programming and connected production. It also builds laser sources for its own machines and for other industries, power electronics, power tools and components for EUV lithography used in chip making.
Two TRUMPF lasers are in our range. The TruLaser 1030 fiber is the entry point to its enclosed 3 x 1.5 m sheet lasers, with 4 to 12 kW TruFiber sources, listed among our fiber laser cutting machines. The TruLaser Tube 5000 fiber is a mid-range tube laser for tube and profiles up to 180 mm, with 4 or 6 kW sources and bundle loading. For sizing a source, see the fiber laser power guide.
A good fit for
- Sheet metal job shops standardising on one maker for cutting and bending
- Fabricators of frames and furniture cutting tube and profiles up to 180 mm
- Plants planning automation and software-linked production
