5000 Series CNC Router
The 5000 Series is MultiCam's heavy-duty router, built on an all-steel gusseted welded frame and aimed at large sheets and pendulum work in wood, plastics, aluminium and composites. Spindles go up to 20 HP, and options include a 12-position gantry-mounted tool carousel, knife heads, a 5 x 5 gang drill bank and 12 in or 16 in Z clearance. It runs on brushless digital AC servo drives and is operated through MultiCam's EZ Control interface and EZ G-Code software.

The 5000 Series suits a shop cutting large sheets or doing pendulum-style production runs in wood, plastics, aluminum or composites, where the all-steel gusseted frame and spindles up to 20 HP handle heavier, more continuous work than a benchtop router. Working areas from 50 x 50 in up to 120 x 242 in let a shop size the table to its largest typical panel or nested layout, and the optional 12-position tool carousel and 5 x 5 gang drill bank suit a shop running varied parts without constant tool changes. A small shop cutting only occasional small parts would find this machine oversized for its needs.
