About MultiCam

MultiCam Inc. is an American builder of CNC cutting machines, founded in 1989, with its Americas office at DFW Airport, Texas. The company says its machines are made in America with American steel, components and people, and that it has delivered more than 15,000 machines, each built to order. In August 2021 MultiCam was acquired by Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems, a digital finishing company with its global head office in Ghent, Belgium, and it continues to trade under its own name.

The CNC router is MultiCam's core product. At the time of the acquisition the company also offered laser, plasma, waterjet and knife cutting machines for work ranging from sign making and digital finishing to aerospace, cabinet making and thermoform trimming. Its current site lists routers, waterjet tables and digital finishing knife systems, supported by about 30 locations worldwide, including 10 technology centres across North America.
