Swift
The Swift is Laguna's budget CNC router. It uses the same helical rack-and-pinion drive, ball-screw Z and one-piece steel frame approach as the SmartShop line. It runs a 3 HP liquid-cooled spindle over a T-slot table and is operated from a handheld DSP controller, which suits small shops cutting wood, plastics, foam and light aluminum. A vacuum-table version and a 4th-axis turner are offered as upgrades.

Where it fits
The Swift suits a small shop or hobby-to-production step-up cutting wood, plastics, foam and light aluminum on a budget, where a handheld DSP controller and T-slot table keep the machine simple to run without a full nesting workflow. Table sizes from 4 x 4 ft up to 5 x 10 ft let a shop pick just enough capacity for sign work, small cabinet parts or prototyping. There is no automatic tool changer, so jobs needing several bits mean manual swaps, and a shop that nests full sheets of cabinet parts at volume would outgrow the Swift quickly and should look at the SmartShop 2 Pro instead.
