SmartShop® 2 Pro
The SmartShop 2 Pro is built on a one-piece all-steel frame with helical rack and pinion on X and Y and a ball screw on Z. A 12 HP HSD spindle and an 8-position ISO 30 automatic tool changer let it run full nested sheets of cabinet parts without stopping to swap bits. It comes in 4 x 8, 5 x 10 and 5 x 12 ft table sizes and uses a Syntec industrial controller with Yaskawa servo drives.

Where it fits
The SmartShop 2 Pro suits a cabinet or millwork shop that nests full sheets and wants an automatic tool changer so a job with several router bits runs without operator stops. Table sizes from 4 x 8 ft up to 5 x 12 ft let a shop match the machine to its sheet stock, and the 6-zone vacuum table holds parts of different sizes on the same spoilboard. A shop that only ever runs a single bit per job, or works with material smaller than a full sheet, would not need the 8-position changer and could save with Laguna's simpler Swift model.
