100m High Speed Paper Straw Making Machine
The GDM-30 winds three or four glued paper strips into a tube and cuts it inline with nine pneumatic knives on a servo-synchronised carriage. Five servo motors drive the winding, the carriage and the cutters, and the reel stand splices new paper rolls automatically. Gaoda's own worked example is about 400 straws per minute when making 6 x 197 mm straws at 80 m/min.

Where it fits
The GDM-30 suits a straw producer making standard-diameter (up to 12 mm) drinking straws at commercial volume, where five servo motors and nine pneumatic cutting knives keep winding and cutting synchronized at speeds up to 110 m/min output. Automatic reel splicing reduces downtime on long runs compared with manual roll changes. Straw length range from 90 to 1,580 mm covers everything from short cocktail straws to long smoothie or bubble tea straws on one machine. A producer only ever making small-diameter straws under 5 mm, such as for juice boxes, would be better matched to the Jota JT-50D, which is built specifically for that narrower range.
