The Smart 17 Leader suits a converter producing box-bottom non-woven bags with loop handles for shopping, clothing, food or gift use, where forming and handle attachment in one pass removes a separate handle-fixing step. At 90 to 100 pieces per minute and bag sizes up to 500 mm wide it fits a mid-size producer running standard retail bag sizes rather than oversized or highly customized formats. Automatic handle centering and bag mouth correction reduce the scrap rate on long runs with less operator oversight. A converter making bags without handles would not need this model's handle-attachment hardware and could look at a simpler forming line instead.
