About Polystar

POLYSTAR Machinery Co., Ltd. is a Taiwanese builder of plastic recycling machines and blown film lines, based in the Yongkang District of Tainan City. The company was founded in 1988 and opened a new facility in 2017 as part of a market expansion. It describes its design approach as engineered simplicity: fewer parts, stable performance and fast maintenance.

Recycling is the larger part of its range. POLYSTAR builds cutter-compactor, shredder-integrated, two-stage, rigid plastic and air-pelletizing recycling lines for PE and PP film, raffia, woven goods and regrind. On the extrusion side it offers mono-layer and multi-layer blown film lines for HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE. Having both from one maker lets a film or bag plant turn its own edge trim and production scrap back into pellets on compatible equipment.
