About Holz-her

Karl Matthias Reich founded the company in 1914, and at first it produced wire goods and equipment for processing wire. Woodworking came later: HOLZ-HER lists its first vertical panel saws in 1958, its first edgebanders in 1969 and its first CNC machining centres in 1993. In 2010 HOLZ-HER became a member of the WEINIG Group, which builds machines for solid wood and derived timber products.

HOLZ-HER GmbH is based in Nürtingen, Germany. Its range for panel processing takes in edgebanders, CNC and vertical machining centres, nesting machining centres, drilling and doweling machines, horizontal pressure beam saws and vertical panel saws. In the United States the company operates from Mooresville, North Carolina, with showrooms there and in Anaheim, California.

Two HOLZ-HER machines are in our catalog. The DYNESTIC 7532 is a gantry nesting machining centre with a 15-spindle drilling head and grooving saw as standard, offered in classic, push, automatic and lift versions. The STREAMER 1054 C is a compact 3.96 m edgebander with premilling, a PUR-capable glue system and a multi-function trimming unit, for workpieces up to 60 mm and edges up to 8 mm. Compare them with other nesting CNC routers and edge banders, or read about equipment for cabinets and furniture.

A good fit for

  • Cabinet shops that nest, drill and groove parts on one machine
  • Shops banding thick edges up to 8 mm, including with PUR glue
  • Plants planning to automate loading on a nesting line
