About Ermaksan

Ermaksan Makina is a Turkish machine builder based in Nilüfer, Bursa. Erol Özkayan laid its foundations in a small lathe workshop in 1965. Through the 1970s it made jacquard looms and then woodworking machinery, and in the late 1980s it turned to sheet metal processing machines. In the 2000s it produced Turkey's first CO2 laser cutting machine and first servo press brake.

The company reports a team of about 1,000 people and 100,000 m² of production facilities, and it added a third plant in the 2010s. Besides press brakes (Power-Bend, Speed-Bend, Eco-Bend, Micro Bend, Green Press and EVO lines) and shears, it builds fiber lasers for sheet and tube, plasma tables, punching machines and metal 3D printers. A semiconductor unit set up in the 2010s makes laser chips, diodes and resonators. ERMAKUSA, in Des Plaines, Illinois, handles sales and service in the United States, and Ermak Deutschland covers Germany.

Two Ermaksan machines appear in our listings. The Power-Bend Pro 3100-175 is a 175-ton, 3.1 m CNC hydraulic press brake from the company's core bending line, listed with other press brakes. The CNC HVR 3100-10 is a 3.1 m hydraulic guillotine shear for 10 mm mild steel that sets its rake angle and blade gap automatically; find it among our shears, or weigh drive types in hydraulic vs electric press brakes.

A good fit for

  • Job shops bending thin gauge to medium plate on 3 m parts
  • Fabricators who want the shear to set rake and blade gap for each job
  • Plants standardising on one maker for lasers, bending and shearing
