About Biesse
Biesse was founded in Pesaro, Italy, in 1969 to design, manufacture and distribute machines for processing wood, and Pesaro is still home to its head office. Since 2001 the company has been listed on the Italian Stock Exchange in Milan, in the STAR segment for mid-sized companies.
Wood is only part of the business. A glass and stone processing sector was added in 1987, and HSD, a business unit that designs and builds electromechanical components, was set up in 1991. GMM, Bavelloni and Techni Waterjet joined the group in 2023. Biesse opened its first United States branch in 1989 and its first production plant outside Italy, in India, in 2008. Its Canadian website lists a Canadian operation with its own presence in the country.
Our catalog lists the Biesse Rover Multi Go N G, a compact gantry nesting centre for cabinet and furniture panels. It can be bought as a stand-alone machine or as a cell with an automatic loading table and an unloading conveyor, so a shop can start small and add material handling later. It sits among our CNC routers, and the CNC router vs panel saw comparison helps cabinet and furniture makers decide between nesting and saw-based cutting.
A good fit for
- Cabinet and closet shops nesting full sheets into parts
- Furniture makers who plan to add automatic loading and unloading
- Plants moving from a saw-and-drill workflow to nesting
